alieNCKU
product design for representing traits of colleges students
There were 5 aliens that represent 5 traits of students in university ,and we merged some features into their looks. Then, these character become useful products. The products were made by Acrylic with laser cutting patterns and the dessert made of marshmallow and chocolate. People can use the products as fruit forks after eat out the dessert.
我們團隊將大學生的一些特質濃縮成五項，並將它們的特質轉化成外星人的外觀，成為有實質用途的文創商品。產品材質為透明壓克力，並雷射切割外框與雷射雕刻圖案，最後結合棉花糖與巧克力，可以作為特別的禮物送給朋友。在食用完以後，可以成為水果叉繼續使用。
Why the name is alieNCKU?
We are from the department of Industrial design in National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. The abbreviation of our school is NCKU. "alieNCKU" was combined with alien and NCKU.
我們是來自臺灣國立成功大學工業設計系的學生，簡寫為 NCKU，因此將外星人的英文 alien 和 NCKU 結合形成我們的產品名稱 「alieNCKU」。

The characters from left to right are:
Tool Tool: They like to collect everything they need.
La La: They likes to talk all the time as long as it is awake.
Spotlight: Everyone is focus on them. They are eye-catching.
Booook: The knowledge is what they cannot live without.
Ya Ya: When the night comes, they wake up.
由左至右的外星人角色為：

Final look of alieNCKU product with package
We sold the products in our school for a week, and each one was NT 120. People could buy them as gifts, and we would send the gifts to whoever they'd like to give in our school.
在我們學校的一隅擺攤一週，每一個產品售價台幣120元。人們可以買給自己，也可以指定要送給學校的同學當作禮物，我們會幫他們送給想送的人。
At last,
alieNCKU were sold more than 300 pieces!
最後 alieNCKU 賣出超過 300 個！
